When will my stand be shipped?

Dynamoto stands are built to order and typically dispatched the following business day. Once your order ships from our workshop in the Netherlands, you will receive all relevant tracking information via email.

If there is a delay in our usual dispatch times due to a high volume of back orders, we will keep you updated on the status and provide an estimated shipping date. You will also have the option to cancel your order if needed.

How can I track my order?

Customers receive full tracking information by email and/or text message, and are able to track their parcel online with a unique tracking number. Identification and signature are required to take delivery of your Dynamoto stand. Considering the value of a Dynamoto parcel, customers are encouraged to ensure someone is at the provided address to accept the parcel and sign for delivery.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery fees are included in the price of a Dynamoto stand for all of Europe as well as Norway and Switzerland.

Can I pick up my order at the European Dynamoto workshop?

If you are located near our European facility in Angerlo or visiting the Netherlands and want to combine your trip with picking up a Dynamoto stand, you are more than welcome to visit us for a personal pickup. Please contact us in advance to ensure we can arrange everything for your visit.

Pickup times can be arranged Monday through Friday between the hours of 09.00 and 17.00 excluding public holidays.

The address for Dynamoto Europe is De Koppeling 23K, 6986 CS, Angerlo in The Netherlands.

Can I change my shipping/delivery address?

We can provide this service only for orders that have not yet been dispatched. Once an order has been picked up by a shipping agent, the delivery address can no longer be altered. Buyers have the full responsibility to provide us with the correct delivery address at the checkout page. Due to the cost of shipping, a re-delivery fee will be charged to customers for items that are returned due to an incorrect delivery address.

How long does it take before my Dynamoto stand is delivered?

Delivery usually takes between 3 to 5 days from when you placed your order. However, please allow for a slightly longer delivery window for some remote locations. You will be informed of any extended delivery times at checkout.

PLEASE NOTE: if a person is not present at the delivery address to accept and sign for the parcel, the carrier will leave a notice for you to collect from a designated collection point. If you do not collect your parcel from this location within the nominated period of time, your parcel will automatically be returned to us in The Netherlands. Refunds or replacements cannot be provided until the parcel is received by us in 'as new' condition.

Dynamoto Stands

How do I know what type of Dynamoto stand I need for my bike?

Simply select your bike from our lists and we will build the Dynamoto stand to suit your particular type of bike.

We explain how it works as follows. In essence, motorcycles can be divided into three different categories: bikes with a single sided swing arm on the right-hand side, bikes with a single sided swing arm on the left-hand side and bikes with conventional (twin-spar) swingarm. We have Dynamoto stands that are specifically made to be compatible with these three categories, meaning that Dynamoto stands fit nearly all bikes.

  • The Single-sided Rear Stand (right-hand side) suits bikes with a single-sided swingarm on the right side.
  • The Single-sided Rear Stand (left-hand side) suits bikes with a single-sided swingarm on the left side.
  • The Double-sided Rear Stand suits bikes with a conventional (twin-spar) swingarm that is fitted with a pickup bobbin on each side of the swingarm.
  • The Front Sled suits any bike with a front tyre with a minimum width of 90mm. Front Sleds must only be used in conjunction with a Dynamoto Rear Stand.
Does my bike need any additional fittings or hardware to work with the stands?

The Dynamoto Front Sled and the Single-sided Rear Stands require nothing to be added to the bike. The Front Sled works by supporting the front tyre itself. The Single-sided Rear Stand works simply by inserting a specially made sleeve into the hollow of the rear axle of your motorcycle.

The only case where additional hardware is required, is when using the Double-sided Rear stand. The Double-Sided Rear stand requires a pickup spool (also called a pickup 'bobbin' or 'cotton reel') mounted to the swingarm on both sides. The hooks either side of the Double-sided Rear Stand lift the bike via the spools in the swingarm.

Spools are a common accessory, available from your motorcycle dealer (OEM), or aftermarket. We do have bobbins available for some selected models in the Dynamoto store and we are working to increase the number of models where compatible bobbins are offered alongside the Dynamoto stand.

There are many different spools available, so make sure you get the correct ones for your bike. If you are unsure about the type of pickup you need, please contact us or contact your dealer for assistance.

Do I need a different stand if I get a different bike? What other bikes will my stand work with?

The Front Sled is universal and will work with virtually any bike that has a tyre with a minimum width of 90mm.

The Double-sided Rear Stand works on bikes that have a conventional (twin-spar) swingarm and a pickup spool (also called a pickup bobbin or cotton reel) mounted on both sides of the swingarm. This the most common type of motorcycle swingarm. For example, if you have stands that you bought for a Yamaha MT-09 and then decide to sell that bike in pursuit of more power and luggage capacity with a KTM 1290 Super Adventure, you won’t need to change stands. The stands for these bikes are the same and will fit your shiny new bike perfectly.

The Single-sided Rear Stand also suits a wide range of bikes, but must have a single sided swingarm with a large central hollow in the bike’s rear wheel hub. The Single-sided Rear stand is easily adapted to work with different makes and model of bikes, by simply changing the spindle that interfaces with the hole in the hub. For example, you can easily change a BMW R1250GS (Adventure) or BMW R1300GS rear stand to a Ducati Panigale rear stand by simply swapping the spindle. Again, you do not need to change stands as long as the rear wheel hub is on the same side.

Some BMW R-series bikes have the rear wheel hub on the left-hand side of the wheel and some have the rear wheel hub on the right-hand side of the wheel. Which stand do I need for mine?

The earlier (air-cooled) R1200 bikes and the current RNINET have the rear wheel hub on the right-hand side of the wheel (looking from behind the bike, in the direction of travel). These bikes require the ‘right-hand’ version of the Dynamoto Single-sided Rear Stand.

The later (liquid-cooled or ‘LC’) versions of the R1200 bikes, as well as the newer R1250 and R1300 require the ‘left-hand’ version.

The bike lists group the 'Left-handed' and 'Right-handed' models separately. Meaning that as long as you select the correct model year, the stand will be correct. If you have any doubts, please contact us directly.

Will a Dynamoto stand work with my bike?

The Front Sled is universal and will work with virtually any bike that has a tyre with a minimum width of 90mm. However, the Front Sled must be used in conjunction with a Dynamoto Rear stand.

The Single-sided Rear Stand requires the bike to have a single-sided swingarm with a large central hollow of a specific diameter that matches the spindle of the stand. We have (swappable) spindles for single-sided swingarm bikes: these are BMW, Ducati, MV Agusta, Honda, KTM and Triumph. The swappable spindles allow the Dynamoto stand to be adapted to different model bikes. If you select your bike and model year in the Dynamoto store, we will add the correctly sized spindle for your bike automatically.

The Double-sided Rear Stand works universally on bikes that have a conventional (twin-spar) swingarm fitted with a pickup spool (also called a 'bobbin' or 'cotton reel') on each side of the swingarm.

Bike that are listed in our drop-down bike selector lists are those that work with our stands, provided certain conditions are met.

Your stands are more expensive than similar looking products. Why is that?

There are many reasons why our stands seem more expensive than similar-looking products on the market. The answer is in the term ‘similar-looking’. ‘Looks’ is where the similarity of a Dynamoto stand compared to all other products ends.

From the very beginning, Dynamoto made the decision that we wanted our product to be the safest, most reliable and most convenient solution for maneuvering and storing full-sized, heavy and cherished motorcycles. We believe, and have been proven correct, that demand for a high-quality and high-performing product that outclasses all competitors in this market is strong indeed.

Alright, so what makes a Dynamoto stand special?

A key ingredient of the Dynamoto stand is the unique wheels which provide the obvious advantage over conventional stationary ‘paddock’ stands, but also vastly better performance, versatility, longevity and user experience over all other motorcycle maneuvering/storage devices, all of which use swivel casters. Compared to conventional swivel casters (which have virtually ‘nil’ cost), our wheels are over-engineered and manufactured with complex multi-stage processes. This means there is a cost involved, but they perform at a very high level, are maintenance free, and last a very long time.

In addition, the gauges and grades of material we use for the specially designed frame are far heavier than those found in ‘similar looking’ products. This was done for one important reason – to create a product that has no ‘flex’ whatsoever. This not only ensures that you as a customer feels safe while enjoying the ease of movement and storage a Dynamoto stand provides, it also makes sure that the Dynamoto stand is one of those products that will last you a lifetime. The only time we want to sell you another stand is the time where you got yourself a second or third bike (good on you by the way).

So, what are the advantages over the similar looking stands?

The Dynamoto stand is a number of steps forward along the innovation path. By comparison, other motorcycle ‘stands’ have stood still for decades. In the realm of vehicle maneuvering and storing, the Front Stand is amazingly simple, but simply unique. The ability to move the front of the bike independent of the rear with two compact and separate devices is a game changer when it comes to the ease-of-use and peace of mind it offers our customers.

The Dynamoto stand is the only stand on the market that has a feature to help prevent the inadvertent (and often catastrophic) unloading of the bike from the dolly. The Double-sided Rear stand has the option of using the ‘Closed Loop’ outrigger to make the act of engaging the stand with the bike a lot easier and safer. Take a look at our how-to videos to get a better understanding of how this works.

What’s with those funny wheels?

The wheels on the Dynamoto stand are revolutionary omni-directional wheels by Rotacaster. These cutting-edge wheels are designed and made in Australia and have proven themselves over years in demanding industrial applications. Under every Dynamoto stand sit Rotacaster Omni-directional wheels. Tough and durable, these unique wheels are designed for the most demanding industrial applications and are definitely up to the task when it comes to making your motorcycle maneuverable and easy to store.

Features:

  • Engineered composite construction is robust but polyurethane rollers are still gentle on floor surfaces.
  • Omni-directional wheels with a fixed axis are not deflected by expansion joints, cracks, or tile grout lines.
  • Omni-directional wheels with a fixed axis allow the load to be safely levered or pivoted off the wheel without unexpected load shifts.
  • Omni-directional wheels with a fixed orientation cannot misalign and provide instant tracking in any horizontal direction from a stand-still or when moving.
  • Bridge expansion joints more easily thanks to wide wheels.
  • Large diameters wheels mean minimal effort to move the load.
